Running Time: 2 mins
Then There Were Two is a British film about the kidnapping of a young woman, taken by a frightening criminal, and the desperate attempts by two women to save her before it’s too late.
While I think that sibling rivalry should be kept off-screen, and the Way girls should fight in their own time, this was another fun and exciting film. A story that was a little repetitive at points, but managed to salvage itself with a nail-biting climax that really added to the thrilling atmosphere.
The story starts off very darkly, with a punchy and shocking revelation that does pull you into the story immediately, setting off on a thrilling, every-second-counts pursuit that does leave you on the edge of your seat.
While I think that Pippa Gargas and Sofia Gomezllata-Marmolejo could have run a little bit faster in this do-or-die story, and Electra Way could have understood the concept of the suspension of disbelief (or not looking at the camera) a little better, it was a very funny watch.
However, it does end on a proper twist, that I didn’t see coming, with a great final shot that created a real cliffhanger, possibly allowing for a sequel? Overall, though, this gets an 8.0.
