2081 is an American short film about a dystopian future world, where everyone is as equal as the weakest in society, and only outlaws and criminals are properly able.
I’m a bit strapped for time this weekend, so I’ll probably end up watching another short film tomorrow, apologies in advance if so.
This film had a very interesting concept, which made me want to watch it, however I found that it was presented in a bit too much of a dull way, as well as being arty, however I understand that this was designed as an exhibition film for a festival.
Also, it once the story was introduced, it didn’t really thrill me very much, but I know that it is definitely very difficult to rapidly intrigue a viewer in a film that is only 25 minutes long, so that’s why I’ll give it 6.8, because it did its job as a short film, but it was just a little bit too boring and arty for me.
