Mean Girls is an American film about a teenage girl who joins a secondary school after having been home schooled for her entire life, and is taken in by the horrible group of ‘popular’ girls: “The Plastics”.
When I think of a film that is more annoying than anything, I’m going to think of this one from now on. It was the most irritating, predictable and cringeworthy film that I have ever seen. With about twenty minutes to go, I was ready to turn off, because I knew exactly how this amazing story was going to end, but I somehow kept going.
I have to say that the odd joke in this film was actually funny, however it was unable to make up for the overall impression of the film, about teenage girls and their social lives, which I have absolutely no care for, and that made me just hate the entire story.
Along with a terrible story and stupid characters, the inclusion of someone like Lindsay Lohan, who is not the world’s greatest actress, to play the main character was just so bad, and that’s why I’ll give this a 4.3.
