Life Of Pi is an American film, based on the book Life Of Pi, about a young boy who is stranded in the middle of the Pacific Ocean with a Bengal tiger, after he survives a shipwreck.
I have to say that this film was stunning. The visual effects were incredible, especially the tiger, which looked so real, as well as the landscapes, and the story was also amazingly theatrical, which made it extremely enjoyable to watch.
I must say that the first 20 minutes or so of this film seem pretty pointless, and also very boring, however once that has passed, and the real drama begins, it becomes incredibly enthralling, and although it may seem boring with a boy sitting on a boat for an hour or so, it is actually very emotional.
Usually, I don’t find these sort of films so captivating, however this was a great exception, so in the end I’ll give this a 8.9, because it was just fantastic for me to watch.
