Man On A Ledge is an American film about an escaped convict who places himself on a ledge of a tall New York building to disguise a nearby bank robbery.
I have to say that this film gets the prize for “Least Invigorating Movie Title Ever”: Man On A Ledge? I laughed at the concept of this film the first time I saw it, and when I was told it was a thriller, I felt it couldn’t ever be very good.
And so it proved, as the storyline was very boring for what it promised, and also the parallel story about the hidden bank robbery was completely unrealistic and stupid.
Obviously, there was a degree of excitement to parts of the film, however they were very spaced out, which made it in fact truly difficult to actually enjoy as you would normally, due to the rest of the film being quite poor, and that’s why I’ll give it a 5.5.
