Knight And Day is an American film about a man and a woman who are chased by evil bad guys after a plane crash in a field on a flight to Boston.
This film’s got Tom Cruise in it, so it’s immediately cool, but the fact that it was a comedy made it even better. This film was perfectly written for Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz, and its nice to see Tom Cruise take the mick out of himself in a film, because his character is now such a stereotype.
I found that the farce in this film was just right, so I was able to see everything in this movie as a complete joke, and I found how Cameron Diaz’s character reacted to being ‘kidnapped’ by a ‘secret agent special force guy’ really funny.
However, the story was quite weak in places, and although it was meant as a joke, all the travelling and random leads to the bad guys’ leader became a bit distracting and boring in the end, so I’ll give this film a 7.6, because it did its job in being funny, but it did get a bit too repetitive in the end.
