Doctor Who is a British film, which is a one-off episode of the BBC TV series Doctor Who, featuring Paul McGann as the Eighth Doctor.
This film was a bit of a shame for such a classic TV show as Doctor Who, as the story was very boring and too cheesy for the show, and all of the special effects were overdone for their very mediocre quality.
Paul McGann, on the other hand, was a perfect actor for the role of Doctor Who, to replace Sylvester McCoy, and although his regeneration at the beginning of the movie was not very interesting at all, he managed to live up to it later on.
Overall, though, the film was a bit too boring and predictable for a show of such high caliber, so I’m going to give it a 5.3, even though the Doctor himself performed very well in my opinion.
