Bambi is a Disney animation film about a young deer who grows up in the wild alone after his mother is shot by deer hunters.
This film is evidently a classic, and is meant for people between ages 3 to 9 to watch, however I personally found just a little bit boring.
I am surprised that I’ve never seen this film before, along with all the other classic Disney animations that I watched around the age of 6, but I felt that this film was particularly dry, as after the action of Bambi’s mother being shot, nothing was really left to happen that would strike any intrigue.
I understand that it is perhaps difficult to understand a film such as this, as it was made 71 years ago, during the Second World War, when the entertainment industry was very different, however it is a classic story, so that’s why it gets 6.2 from me.
