The Heat is an American film about an FBI agent who is paired with a crazy, foul-mouthed Boston police officer after she is transferred from New York, and together they investigate a drug ring in order to bring down the main drug lord in the city.
This was very funny. Despite having a completely predictable and sometimes over-the-top storyline, this was quite an entertaining film to watch. All of the jokes were funny, the characters were mostly hilarious, and it was a great mick-take of the normal cop dramas.
I was delighted by how this film managed to keep me interested in the story, even though I pretty much knew what was going to happen, by including numerous hilarious gunfights, scenes in which the two main characters tried to desperately to get inside the drug ring that they were investigating, in many ridiculous yet brilliantly funny ways.
Overall, I’ll give this a 7.4, because it was a very entertaining film to watch from start to finish, with great comedy, even though its story was very obvious.
