Accepted is an American film about a high school student who does not get into any of his chosen universities, so in order to fool his parents, he creates a fake university, however it seems too real, and due to that, hundreds of other students who haven’t been accepted turn up expecting to join the college.
I really enjoyed watching this film! I thought that although it had a very predictable story, it was extremely funny, and the completely preposterous nature of the storyline seemed to make it even more hilarious in my opinion.
Everything about this film was pretty ridiculous, yet it was all very funny too, such as the incredibly long and high-pitched scream from Jonah Hill (which you’ll see in the trailer) that had me falling off of my chair laughing.
At the end of the film, when South Harmon is facing closure as it is not a real college in the eyes of the stare, there is a horribly cheesy speech which was just so cringeworthy to watch I cannot tell you, but the rest of the film was great fun to watch, so because of that, I’ll give this a 7.7.
