TRON: Legacy is an American film about a man who creates a computer world and then goes into it and never returns. Now, his son enters the world to try and find his long-lost father, however he must defeat the evil rulers of this world to escape alive.
Sadly, as with many of these films nowadays, it just becomes so focussed on creating cool CGI with the ultimate special effects that are good for merchandising, while the story is completely looked over.
And thinking that throughout this film really annoyed me. Sure, the actors performed well enough, and the special effects were pretty cool to look at, but when you’re watching something with such a poor story, in which you’re struggling to keep your full attention, it’s really not that entertaining.
Despite that, some of the fight scenes in this were quite cool, especially the ones that had little bearing to the story, because they were just out and out cool with all the CGI and stuff, but overall, this film was quite disappointing, so that’s why I’ll give it a 6.3.
