Se7en is an American film about two detectives who are put on a case where a serial killer is using the seven deadly sins to mark his killings.
Wow. This film was possibly one of the most thrilling I have ever experienced. The story of this film was so complex, with nothing being revealed right until the last, and although the violence and gore in this film was just beyond gruesome, it was incredible to watch.
Every single actor performed exceptionally in this film, making it seem so much more believable, and the difficulty that the detectives were experiencing in finding the killer made it seem so much more mysterious and realistic, therefore keeping my intrigue right up until the end.
The end of this film was also astonishing. It had one of the greatest punchlines I have ever seen in a movie, and I definitely cannot tell you what it is, because it is just so shocking that you cannot believe it until it is explained in the context of the film.
This film’s story is right up there with some of the best I have ever seen, because it is intriguing, mysterious, exciting, shocking and everything fantastic all rolled into one, so overall, I’m going to give this film a 9.5.
