Jay And Silent Bob Strike Back is an American film about the trip that Jay and Silent Bob undertake after they discover a movie is being made about characters based on them, and they intend to stop it before it is made, as they haven’t been paid.
This wasn’t bad at all! Normally, there’s nothing worse than a spin-off movie, and when a movie is spinning off two other films, Dogma and Clerks, I wasn’t expecting the best, so I was pleasantly surprised by this film!
These guys are probably one of the funniest movie duos of all time, and in this film, they just went absolutely crazy with their characters. With a completely preposterous storyline, this film was filled with some absolutely hilarious comedy, and although some parts were just totally moronic, the majority of the film was hilarious to watch.
Also, it’s funny to see all of the people from the other two films in this, such as Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Chris Rock, Brian O’Hallaran and many others, all taking the mick out of themselves, and I felt that that was a nice touch added by the makers.
Overall, I’ll give this a 7.3 because although it had a stupid storyline, it was a very funny film, with great comedy and fantastic characters, making it overall very enjoyable to watch.
