A Good Day To Die Hard is an American film about the detective John McClane who goes to Moscow to help his son Jack, whom he discovers is a CIA agent in a spot of bother with the gangs of the city.
I think this is the fifth Die Hard now, and it’s by far the worst. I was very disappointed by this film, and it shows that they’ve got to stop making them now, because it’s ruining the legacy. The first film was simple, and all set in a skyscraper, but now it seems that they’re trying to make this film just Die Hard, James Bond and Mission Impossible all rolled into one.
Of course, all the over-the-top action is a bit of fun, and it’s nice to watch, but they do really ram it down your throat in this film, so that makes it a very irritating film to watch after an hour and a half.
Also, the story was very poor and not at all exciting, meaning that this film was even further disappointing, so because of that, I’m going to give this a 5.7.
