Hitchcock is an American film that details the events of master director Alfred Hitchcock’s life during the production of his most controversial motion picture: Psycho.
This movie was very well done. I thought that all of the make-up and design to make it look very 1960 were convincing, and Anthony Hopkins looked exactly like Alfred Hitchcock, making the whole thing seem much more realistic.
Although there were some relatively boring parts in this movie, it still had a great storyline, and it managed to keep my full attention, especially the scenes relating to the strains in Mr. Hitchcock’s marriage, which I was not fully aware of before I saw this film.
Also, the detail of the events of Alfred Hitchcock’s life was just so strong that I felt I was only watching a documentary, rather than a drama, so because of the film’s great realism, and intriguing story, I’ll give it 7.5.
