Ruby Sparks is an American film about a writer who discovers that a woman he has met is the main character from his new book, and he finds that he is able to change her characteristics by writing new things about her in his novel, but he sees that all of this perfection can be a little annoying…
This film had a really odd concept, and it was quite interesting at the beginning, when the writer was first accustoming himself to his new girlfriend, however it did become a little predictable and boring as the story progressed.
The comedy in this film was also quite good, but it was also a little annoying, especially once the writer found his girlfriend to be annoying, meaning that it wasn’t really that pleasant to watch.
Overall, I’ll give this film a 6.7, because although it had an initially interesting and seemingly original concept, it became relatively boring and irritating to watch.
