Warm Bodies is an American film about a zombie who saves a girl from an attack, and subsequently falls in love with her, and they realise that their love may actually be able to cure all of the zombies in this apocalyptic world.
For some reason, I just found this film really frustrating to watch. I did enjoy the somewhat similarĀ Zombieland, but that was shown from the perspective of alive people, whereas seeing this from the zombie’s perspective was extremely annoying for me, and also quite boring.
The idea of this film was quite cool, and although the majority of the comedy in the film was actually quite good, I thought that incorporating a romance into this was a bit disappointing, as this meant that there was very little action and excitement (i.e. blood – which I would have thought you’d expect a lot of in a zombie movie) until the final fight scene at the end of the film.
Overall, I’ll give this a 6.6 because although some parts were funny, and it was quite cool, it was mostly boring and irritating to watch, but that’s just me.
