Switch is an American film about an evil, sexist man who is murdered by his ex-girlfriends, however it is decided that he is to be sent back to Earth as a woman, so that he can experience what he’s been dishing out all his life.
This was just pretty rubbish. In terms of the ideas, they were quite cool, however they weren’t portrayed very well, and therefore the whole thing just became very boring, and it caused me to lose a lot of attention to the story at many parts of the film.
Also, it just wasn’t very funny. The jokes were poor, the characters were irritating, and at some parts, the whole story seemed to quickly divert away from being any type of comedy, to instead being a much more “thought-provoking” story describing how God is great and he controls all Earthly things or something like that.
Overall, I’ll give this a 5.5 because it was quite a dull film, with very little comedy, and a very poor story was created from what seemed like it could be quite a funny idea.
