Land Of The Lost is an American film about an scientist who gets no respect from his colleagues, who creates a functioning time machine, and ends up going back in time and space to a land that time forgot, where deadly dinosaurs run free…

This was definitely a very odd film, but it was very funny! Although the storyline was beyond preposterous, it was still a very entertaining film to watch. I loved the little monkey that the group encounter, Chaka, who is just a random monkey in the middle of a desert planet, and yet they adopt him and take him along with them.

I found the ways that all of the events occurred completely spontaneously very funny, such as finding the ability to travel back in time while on a raft in a grungy tunnel next to a service station in the middle of the desert, and then just taking the service attendant along with them, many years into the past.

Overall, I’ll give this 7.5 because it was very funny, and completely stupid, but in a very entertaining way, making it quite a fun film for me to watch.
