Moon is a British film about an astronaut who has been working on a space base on the Moon for three years, and he begins to lose his mind, causing him to spiral into madness.
I don’t see why this film is so highly rated. It was possibly one of the most tedious and annoying sci-fi films that I have ever seen. The whole thing revolved around one person, and I did not find any of the ideas presented at all interesting or thought-provoking, which they were evidently intended to do.
Aside from the fact that I really do not think Sam Rockwell is an amazing actor, I found this to be a massive disappointment, as I could see that a massive budget and a lot of hard thinking had gone into creating an original storyline to prevent it seeming from being a boring film, because there’s only one person in the entire movie, and he doesn’t do anything at all in my opinion.
Overall, I’ll give this a 3.7 because it was one of the most boring sci-fi films I’ve ever seen, and it was not at all an interesting concept as it seemed…
