Balls Of Fury is an American film about a former world-class table tennis player who is called back up to compete in an international competition run by an evil villain who kills the loser of each match.
From the name of this film, I was not expecting much at all in terms of a good story or amazing comedy, and I was more or less right. The whole thing was completely predictable, and it wasn’t very funny at all.
As always, I found that the occasional joke was hilarious, however it just couldn’t make up for the fact that this was just a totally typical poor comedy, that was just totally obvious, but it was good that they chose a sport that isn’t just always used for these movies, like American football or baseball…
Overall, I’ll give this a 5.6 because it wasn’t a very funny comedy, and the story was so predictable, however it was very occasionally funny.
