Planet Of The Apes is an American film about a space crew who crash land on an unknown planet in the future, which is run by highly-intelligent apes.
I was surprised by this film. It is evidently a classic fantasy film, and it was much more exciting than I expected, as it is hard to make a film partly set on a deserted planet so interesting.
I found everything in this film very enjoyable, and although it was initially frustrating when the main character: George Taylor was unable to communicate to the apes about his situation, but once he was able to do this, I was strongly intrigued by the entire story line.
Overall, this gets an 8.0 because it was brilliant to watch (with an amazing twist at the end of the film), however it was too slow and frustrating for me in the first 20 minutes.
