Nativity 2: Danger In The Manger! is a British film and is the sequel to Nativity! After the departure of Mr. Maddens, a new teacher, Mr. Peterson steps in, where he is faced with the dilemma of taking the school to the national Song For Christmas competition or not.
Well, this was definitely as, if not ten times more, cheesy and irritating as the first film. A preposterous story with annoying characters that was basically only saved by a very upbeat tone, some fun comedy, and a lovely happy ending.
Just to certify, this film isn’t at all good quality or value for money. However, if you want something that everybody can watch, and will leave you with one of the biggest smiles on your face by the end.
Having said that the nice, happy and upbeat atmosphere that is maintained for the majority of the film was a plus, not much else was. One main character, seemingly a protagonist was too irritating to support, as because of his idiotic decisions, everything ended up going wrong, making the story all the more annoying.
Also, I say that the comedy was fun, but that’s only when it was being a bit more sarcastic. Apart from that, it was actually relatively poor; in fact I thought that the script was partly written by the kids themselves, so because of that, I’ll give this a 6.1.
