No Strings Attached is an American film about two friends who decide to have a relationship together, however only for sex with one another. However, when one of them develops feelings for the other, the whole thing breaks down.
In reality, I would like to refer you to the review for Friends With Benefits, because this film was just unbelievably identical to it, in terms of the idea, the story, the comedy, and the whole feel, which I found a little annoying, but it didn’t affect my viewing too much.
Talking about the story, I thought that it was just not really at all interesting all the way through; it was cheesy and extremely predictable in my opinion, which was just very disappointing for me.
Sadly, the comedy didn’t really make up for it either. There was the very occasional joke that was truly entertaining, but overall, it wasn’t funny enough, meaning that the whole thing was not at all enjoyable to watch.
Overall, I’ll give this a 5.9 because although it was rarely quite funny, it was predictable, cheesy and (sorry to compare it again) ridiculously similar to Friends With Benefits, not something I like to see too much, but that’s a downfall on the sides of both films.
