She’s Out Of My League is an American film about an average man who meets the supposed perfect woman, however due to the fact that he has self-esteem issues and is very unconfident, their relationship begins to fall apart.
Now, this film was very disappointing. I didn’t expect anything particularly special from this, however it was still even worse than I anticipated, mainly due to the fact that the story was so identical to those of other rom-coms (i.e. the dramatic bit at the end where they have to get off of the plane so that they can save their relationship (sorry for spoiling it, but it’s not that great)), that I felt I had already seen this about five times.
Despite that, the comedy was relatively entertaining for the duration. The more farcical and stand-alone jokes were a lot funnier than those that were linking in to the frankly pathetic story, which was good to see, and I did laugh quite a bit during this film.
However, it was all too predictable, cheesy and occasionally moronic to watch at points, making it just not an enjoyable thing on the whole, and due to that, I’ll give this a 5.7.
