Running Time: 107 mins

This Is The End is an American film about numerous celebrities, including James Franco, Seth Rogen, Jay Baruchel and others, who end up facing the apocalypse after a massive sinkhole appears in front of James Franco’s house at a party…

This was a great film! I loved the way that the actors portrayed versions of themselves, rather than characters, and it seemed as if the personalities given to the actors were either what you would expect them to be like in real life, or exactly the opposite (for example Michael Cera.)

Also, I thought that this film was absolutely hilarious from start to finish. When it’s done properly, this sort of Shaun Of The Dead-esque comedy-horror film can be fantastically entertaining to watch, as it had a perfect mix of comedy and gore, along with what was an intriguing and very exciting story to follow.

The one thing I will say is that the gore in this film is extremely brutal. Not even in Kill Bill or films as gory as that were as terrible as this: seeing people’s heads being crunched off, people being eaten alive, and many other horrific scenes.

Overall, I’ll give this an 8.0, because it was a hilarious film to watch, with some great horror and a brilliant storyline, making it on the whole one of the most entertaining films released this year.
