Swimming With Sharks is an American film about a man who starts work at a production company, however he must face up against his abusive boss who does everything possible to make the man’s life complete hell.
This was a really odd film. Initially, you expect it to be a normal comedy with Kevin Spacey just shouting at everyone else, but it develops throughout to become extremely dark, when the man decides to get revenge on his boss, which was completely unexpected.
I have to admit that the story of this film was pretty poor, but the one of the man torturing his boss was quite exciting to watch, but still really dark. However, I feel that if it weren’t Kevin Spacey in this film, I think that the film would have been quite a bit worse.
Speaking of whom, Mr. Spacey outperformed himself in this film, as he playing his perfect role as the terrible, abusive head, similar to in Horrible Bosses, which made added greatly to the film.
Overall, I’ll give this a 7.0 because although it was quite funny at some points, it was overly dark and had a poor storyline in my opinion, so it wasn’t the most entertaining film ever.
