The World’s End is a British film about 5 old friends who go back to their hometown to finish ‘The Golden Mile’: a pub crawl that they failed to complete on the last day of school when they were younger, however now, they realise something about the town has changed…
This was amazing! I was fretting that this would be a bit of a let down after the two first films in The Cornetto Trilogy, but it wasn’t. This film had loads of fantastic comedy, a great story, brilliant action, and some really cool special effects to go along.
I loved all of the farce throughout, the hilarious references to the previous two films, and although the story was a little predictable in the end, it was still really good fun for me to watch, and all of the actors put in brilliant performances to make it one of the funniest films of the year.
Overall, I’ll give this an 8.0, because it was just absolutely hilarious, really cool, very interesting, and a great way to send off one of the funniest trilogies of all time.
