Predator is an American film about a special US army regiment that is sent into a Central American jungle to face an unknown alien warrior whose intent is to find and kill any human that it encounters.
This was a pretty cool film. When you put war, humongous machine guns, aliens and Arnold Schwarzenegger all together, it’s not a bad combination at all.
Obviously, the story of this film was completely preposterous, and the Predator looked to me more like it was a sort of outer space machine that had come to kill people, rather than being an alien, but when it did take its mask off, and I saw its face, I thought it was a little scary, just because of how ugly it is.
If you’re looking for a film that has intriguing and tense story, with interesting characters, and relationships between them which are developed, this isn’t for you. However, if you’re looking for complete action and annihilation of the rainforest (which was pretty cool!), then this is the ultimate film, and it’s because of that that I’m going to give this a 7.7.
