Forgetting Sarah Marshall is an American film about a man who breaks up with a TV star, and in order to get over her, he goes to Hawaii for a holiday, however he soon finds out that his ex-girlfriend is there too, with another man…
This film was very funny! I loved all of the characters, completely preposterous comedy, and ridiculous storyline, even though the majority of the jokes in this film were extremely cringeworthy, making some parts unbearable to watch, but it was still a good laugh.
I see a trend developing in films made across the pond, which I have known for a long time, but I now have evidence! Russell Brand is English. Therefore, in the minds of the writers and producers, he must be the bad guy, because of him being English, which is a really weird (and occasionally irritating) trend that it DEFINITELY happening.
Anyway, the film was very enjoyable to watch, the small cast was very funny, as it was able to really develop all of the characters well, so you got to know them very well while watching the film, making it a much more understandable film to watch.
Overall, I’ll give this 7.4 because although some parts were hard to watch due to just horribly cringing jokes, it was a fun film to watch, with great comedy, and a stupid storyline.
