The Change-Up is an American film about two friends who magically swap bodies after wishing for each other’s lives while urinating in a public fountain, and now a married man becomes a single man, and the single man becomes a married man.
This film was okay. I enjoyed the concept, and it was presented in quite an entertaining way, but the comedy was not that great, so it wasn’t the best film in the world.
I thought that Jason Bateman and Ryan Reynolds were brilliant actors for the roles, and that definitely made it seem a lot more believable, even though it was still completely cheesy and ridiculous.
The story was also very predictable, with all of the allegedly tense ending bits actually being very obvious and boring, but all in all, the film was quite entertaining, and their were some very funny characters and memorable scenes in it, so that’s why I’ll give it a 6.5.
