Stand By Me is an American film about four young boys who go on an adventure together to go and find the dead body of a missing boy.

This was a very interesting film. I was intrigued by how the story was written to make these four boys seem rather adult-like, in terms of their character, while still keeping them childlike and relatively innocent, as nobody else would really want to go and see a dead body…

The story of this film was also very good, and although it seemed as if very little was actually happening, and it was just a nice view of a few boys’ cross-country trip, it was definitely very entertaining to watch.

Overall, I’ll give this a 7.8, because it had a good story, along with very interesting characters, and what seemed like a relatively original concept.
