Rat Race is an American film about a group of lucky winners at a Las Vegas casino who are put in a race against one another to find a case filled with 2 million dollars, given to them by a rich tycoon who is looking for something new to put a bet on.
This was hilarious! This film was so cheesy, stereotypical and completely and utterly obvious, but it was done as such a mick-take, I couldn’t see the downside! The story was the typical journey of completely different individuals, with each getting their comeuppance for attempting to cheat their way to victory, but it was still very funny.
I enjoyed all of the characters, as they were just so normal and stupid, it was fantastic to watch them try to get 2 million dollars, no matter how dastardly their plans were.
Also, Rowan Atkinson played a great role as the bumbling Italian idiot, Enrico Pollini, and although he was so ridiculously stupid, I was still greatly entertained by his appearance, and he was definitely the funniest part of the film, but everything was still extremely hilarious nonetheless, so I’ll give this film a 7.7.
