United 93 is an American film about the events of the 11th September, 2001, and the courage of the people on board United Airlines Flight 93 to defeat the terrorists and prevent the plane from being flown into the White House in Washington, D.C.
Wow. This film was absolutely stunning to watch. It was absolutely fascinating all the way through, extremely dramatic and ultimately very emotional, while it put seemed to put you in the shoes of the people on Flight 93 extremely well.
I have learnt a lot about 9/11 at school, and I thought that I knew a lot about it, however I was so unaware about the military’s belatedness throughout the whole morning when the attacks were taking place, however this film details that side to the story amazingly well.
It was incredible how the film managed to make this story so exciting and interesting while keeping it in real time, giving you an even scarier image as to how shocking and unexpected these attacks were, and how the US authorities coped with it.
Overall, I’ll give this an 8.8, just because it was an absolutely fantastic film; very educational and interesting, while extremely shocking and emotional at the same time.
