G-Force is an American film about a group of highly trained guinea pigs who are given the mission to prevent an evil home appliance manufacturer from creating an army of deadly blenders and coffee machines and other stuff.
Right, I’ve been putting off watching this film for 4 years, but you know, sometimes you just have to sit through film like this, and see if you can find any positives. The only positive that I could find was that the film was just a bit of fun, and it worked perfectly as a film to keep kids from being bored in the holidays, so that’s why it’s got what seems like quite a high rating.
Anyway, the rest of the film was pretty awful. The story was completely predictable, as it’s made by Disney, the majority of the supposedly more intelligent jokes weren’t funny, and although the animation was actually incredibly good, the majority of the content was poor.
Also, why would you pick guinea pigs? If you had to make a secret elite team of highly trained animals, why wouldn’t you pick something cool, like snakes or something stupid like sloths? The only reason guinea pigs were in this film was so that Disney could sell millions of cuddly rodent toys to kids in the shops…
Overall, I’ll give this a 6.0, because apart from being a great kids’ film, along with fantastic animation, it was very bad, predictable, and not that funny, even though a little part of me found it quite enjoyable to watch.
