Taken 2 is a French film and is the sequel to the 2008 movie Taken. In this movie, ex-CIA agent Bryan Mills’ whole family go to Istanbul on holiday, however his wife is kidnapped, along with his daughter by the group of Albanians who want revenge on Mr. Mills for what he did to their family before.

Don’t get me wrong, I think that the first film was absolutely brilliant, and I still think that the story is filled with adrenaline and high tension. However, with a sequel, you do need to something a little different to the original, and changing the person being kidnapped and what location they are in is not different.

The story was still all good and exciting, with lots of cool fight scenes and other stuff, however it was mostly just the same film as the first one, just replacing French people with Turkish people.

Overall, I’ll give this 7.2 because the story is still great, and the first film was good, but this was not at all different to the first one, and you can’t rate something that has the exact same storyline as another film too highly.
