God Bless America is an American film about a middle-aged man and a teenage girl who go on a killing spree of unworthy or spoilt people around the USA.
I am from the UK, so I wasn’t expecting to get many of the jokes in this film, which could have been inside jokes for only Americans, but it was actually a completely hilarious movie!
Initially, the film shows Frank, a depressed middle-aged man, on the brink of killing himself, which I thought was a bit too dark for the start of a comedy movie, however it was hilarious to me when he immediately developed hatred for the spoilt girl on television: Chloe.
This film just got weirder and funnier as it went along, culminating in a spectacular finale at the finals of America’s Next Top Idol or something, and the fact that this teenage girl tagged along with Frank was totally ridiculous, so that’s why it gets a 9.2.
